Hoxton Beach follows a long line of park cafés here. Queens Park’s history began when the City of London Corporation bought part of land in Kilburn that had been the site of the 1879 Royal Agricultural Show). The present building dates from the 1960s when it was rechristened a ‘refreshment châlet’ and given plenty of kitchen and storage space. With the pandemic we have focussed on developing the patio for outdoor service of coffee falafel and crêpes but are also developing dishes of the day and Sunday roasts.
